Profession: sales and marketing, food industry

No matter how hard we try to get closer to a real performance, there will always be one important limiting factor: the recording's quality. It is not an exception that our favourite piece of music is a sonic crap. Then, even astronomically priced equipment will not help us to enjoy it. My recommendation si simple: enjoy the music and use your equipment as a working tool, not vice versa.

It is not easy to stop the audiophile disease and start loving you current audio set up. It is also important to stop reading revies in magazines - that's why I write them instead :-). The search for the absolute sound is endless for some simple reason: there is nothing like the absolute sound. The high end is a kind of philosophy, balancing your preferences and expectations... like searching for your life partner - the choice is vast, upgrades are available and switching to someone 'better' may not be a good decision for many years to come ;)
